Sander Teepen joins Interartists Amsterdam

July 21st 2017
Interartists Amsterdam is proud to announce the signing of conductor Sander Teepen for General Management

“In addition to his technical talent as conductor, he also has great empathy for those around him. He reassures those around him, and has a seemingly inexhaustible supply of positive energy.” – André Heuvelman, solo trumpet player, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra –

In 2017, Sander made his successful debut at The Residentie Orchestra The Hague gaining a wonderful testimonial by the artistic director Sven Arne Tepl: "Sander Teepen: versatile, with very natural communication skills. Within a few minutes, he knows how to transfer his ideas of sound and phrase to the orchestra. He is one of those conductors for whom the orchestra is ready to give everything." In 2017 Sander also made his debut with the Dutch Radio Metropole Orchestra and The Gelders Orchestra.

In 2017/2018 Sander will make his debut at Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the North Netherlands Orchestra. He will conduct Shostakovich his Lady MacBeth at the Divadlo Antonina Opera House Dvoraka Ostrava.
