Reviews

Julien Libeer, behind a beautifully brightly intoned Steinway, is the lynchpin of this Mozart programme. With his delicate playing, rich in shades, he is an infectious primus interpares, surrounded by friends, all first-rate chamber music players.
— Frank Hougee, Luister
Libeer closes the programme alone in an early-ish piano sonata whose graceful opening Adagio reveals his singing tone, magical feel for line and pleasing reluctance to wallow in things. The Menuetto is strung with tasteful and original ornaments, and the Haydnesque finale is full of quick contrasts. Here, as everywhere on this release, Libeer’s playing shows exemplary Mozartian touch and emotional sensitivity.
— Lindsay Kemp, Gramophone
