Nourabad in Les Pêcheurs de Perles at Opera Vlaanderen. Conductor Karel Deseure, stage direction FC Bergman.

Nourabad – who, in the staging, is the young Zurga – by Jacob Abel completes the cast ideally.
— Forum Opéra
Very successful Pearl Fishers in Antwerp […] His [Zurga’s] young version was sung adequately by Jacob Abel.
— Opéra Magazine

The Norwegian Jacob Abel completes the ensemble as the high priest Nourabad, who, in FC Bergman’s interpretation, becomes the young version of Zurga, with a dark and impressive bass.
